Two more Skippyverse SG-1 drabbles

Here are two more drabbles in my insane Stargate: SG-1 crossover series about Lt. Colonel Cameron Mitchell’s attempt to recreate a new SG-1 from scratch in the ‘Skippy-verse’. I probably won’t bother to put these ones up at ‘Twisting the Hellmouth’ because nothing happens in them except Cam discussing potential recruits with El Nombre from ‘Numbertime’. PG, 2 x 100 words.

Femme Fatale

“I know of a possible recruit for the sexy alien señorita position, Coronel Mitchell,” El Nombre suggested. “Minge the Merciless.”

Cam frowned. “Don’t you mean ‘Ming the Merciless’? And isn’t that a guy?”

“This is the granddaughter of Emperor Ming,” El Nombre explained. “Her planet Mongo was conquered by the Goa’uld. She is in exile and might be willing to join us until she regains her throne.”

“Sounds the kind of woman who’d be lethal in bed,” Cam said. “Literally.”

El Nombre shrugged. “That would not matter to you, I think,” he said. “Would it, Coronel?”

“Don’t ask, don’t tell.”

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Rodent

“What about another talking animal?” Cam asked. “You know any likely candidates?”

“Aleksandr Orlov from Compare the Meerkat dot com, perhaps, Coronel?”

“I don’t think he has any useful skills,” Cam said, “and I couldn’t live with that accent. Anyone else?”

“Well, I am not the only rodent hero,” El Nombre said. “There are two others. From your own Estados Unidos there is Woodchuck Norris.”

Cam shuddered. “No, thanks. Who’s the other one? Mighty Mouse? Scrappy Squirrel?”

El Nombre rolled his eyes. “They are cartoons, señor Coronel. No, I mean the great martial artist from China. Mouse of Flying Daggers.”
