Westley stood, hands tied behind his back, and watched as his pirate captor had the other members of the captured ship’s crew thrown to the sharks.
An odd-looking character, this pirate captain, with hair hanging in matted locks and crowned by a woollen hat patterned in stripes of red, yellow, green and black.
“The agents of Babylon go down unto destruction,” said the captain. He turned to Westley. “You can live, mon, but I and I probably kill you in the mornin’.”
“Please,” said Westley, “Who are you?”
“Truly,” the captain answered, “I and I am the Dread Pirate Roberts.”
