The strange behaviour of the cat in the night-time.
Every night, at precisely 23 minutes past 10, Shaka falls off the arm of the couch.

No-one knows why.

23 minutes past 10 is when the veil is lifted and the ghost can push best.

If I were a ghost, I'd put my pushing skills to better use.

That's very odd. Maybe that's when her balance gives out... :)

He's really an android and he restarts at 23 minutes past 10 every night causing a momentary loss of balance...

Or, it could just be a cat thing and it's very unseemly of you to notice!

Being married to a tester has warped my brain... my first thought was "Have you tried changing the clock to see if that had any effect on what Shaka falls off the couch?"

Well, I was going to make a joke involving him being neutered but quickly realized that it would be one upped by everyone else in this thread.

You especially.

Well, around here the police code for arriving on the scene is 10-23 ... maybe Shaka's just ... arriving.

I would never attempt to explain anything a cat ever does...

Unrelated to your cat falling off the couch, but when I saw this I immediately thought "did the walls fall?" Which is an incredibly nerdy bit of TNG Trek trivia, for which I feel a tad embarrassed.

Huh... that's a very weird behavior. Wonder what causes that.

Maybe he is a creature of habit and is in a particularly deep sleep at that point in time, stretches and rolls off the couch arm. Odd.
