Impeach Wayne Rooney!
No other comment about the England match; I have no words that wouldn't be potentially libellous.

If we made a comment comparing Rooney to Moby's dick would that be considered libelous?

pgavigan, who is somewhat relieved to see that we Colonials don't hold the monopoly on poor sportsmanship.

well there're always argentina players kicking celebrating players after their earned victory ...

I feel your pain. :( I'm sorry that England lost. If it's any consolation, Brazil will whoop the hell out of Portugal, I think.

:)

Dickhead is not libellous, surely?

But far too mild to express my feelings.

I feel so sorry for those England players who played their hearts out and were let down by a moronic thug and by a coach with the soul of a middle manager in an accountancy firm.

Rooney is an oaf and a lout and it's atrocious that he should stand for British sportsmanship in the eyes of so many people. Bleeding tragic, actually.

For all the hype about Rooney he has never scored a World Cup goal - not even in qualifiers. And now he torpedoed any hope England had of winning by forcing them to play with only ten men.

He's a liability to England not an asset and if I was Steve MacLaren I wouldn't select Rooney for any of England's qualifying matches for the next European championships. Not unless he can prove that he's reformed by going an entire season for Man U without any sendings off or suspensions.

And he's far more likely to spontaneously combust.
